TRASH RECORDS
The graffiti aesthetic has long been used to sell records, T-shirts, skateboards, and many youth-culture ephemera. Trash Records represents the familiar independent record store, neighborhood surf/skate shop or mall-style head shop adorned with scribbling, murals, doodles and stickers of local and global artistry. Records displayed within are from Roger Gastman’s private collection of graffiti-inspired album art. Artworks by Bill Barminski featured inside the installation.

BEYOND THE STREETS Shanghai is open Tuesday-Thursday 12pm to 8pm and Friday-Sunday from 11am to 8pm.
