On November 24th, 2009. John, his brother Josh, and 11 friends and family would go into Nutty Putty cave located west of Utah Lake. It was supposed to be a relaxing excursion into a new cave. What proceeded to happen next would turn out to be one of the most extensive rescue attempts in caving history.
This video covers the (in)famous story of John Edward Jones and the Nutty Putty cave. John crawled into a tunnel in the cave and was upside down for 28 hours. I go over the accident, rescue attempt and aftermath of what happened.
