I'm Back! A 4 Minute Update - The Jet Build
Greetings and welcome. It has been some time, and we are now in 2023. As a high school teacher, I have utilized this platform extensively during the pandemic to enhance my teaching. It has significantly contributed to my students' learning experience, and I am always striving to improve my methods. I have an abundance of content to share, including product reviews, 3D printing, and laser engraving. I have almost completed setting up my makerspace downstairs, which includes microphones, tractor ventilation, and a capture unit for dust particles. Moreover, I have a 90-watt laser in my classroom. Much has changed, and I am excited to create new content for you.
I am also quite busy, and I have lost some weight since we last spoke. I am currently testing the camera and microphone for my upcoming podcast, "Creators," which is in the works. It is going to be like a signature mark for makers, builders, creators, artists, and designers worldwide, and I have already lined up three incredible individuals to interview. I plan to invite some guests to the studio, and I will conduct interviews with international individuals online, discussing their creative processes. These interviews will also be shared with my students so that they can learn more about turning their creative endeavors into a full-time business and the struggles that come with it.
Occasionally, I will also chat with people from various fields, spanning a wide range of topics. On the other side of the studio is the presentation table, where I will do overhead recording tutorials and reviews of products such as 3D printers and laser engravers. I have been recently approached by some companies, and I look forward to experimenting with new techniques and tools. Furthermore, I have designed some items that are currently being sold on Etsy. I am also working on an electronic Jet engine, which is not a kinetic sculpture, but a moving electronic and digital sculpture that I plan to create with the XTool D1. I hope to bring out-of-the-box thinking and my design skills to this project and make it an incredible build.
