Google Earth RF planning with SPLAT! - 2011
An early demo of Cloud computing for RF planning. Here an interactive KML network overlay on Google Earth is linked to a web server running the popular SPLAT! RF planning tool. In this instance a VHF transmitter is placed in the Scottish Highlands with an antenna height of 8 metres and a power output of 20 Watts.
