Trilateration API - Geo-locate BLOS signals with propagation modelling
Demonstration of the public Trilateration API at CloudRF.
This API accepts received power values to approximate the location of a signal.
Historically trilateration (or multilateration) is the simplest and least accurate geo technique as drawing circles in mountains and cities doesn't work due to attenuation and diffraction.
Using full propagation modelling this legacy technique has been brought up to date and made viable for beyond line of sight use in forests and cities where previously it would have not compared with time and phase techniques.
