SOOTHSAYER ATAK plugin powered by an Nvidia Jetson AGX Orin
Demo of powering the SOOTHSAYER ATAK plugin using a Nvidia Jetson AGX Orin.
The SOOTHSAYER GPU server is installed as a Docker container on the ARM64 AGX. The RF planning plugin is installed on ATAK 4.10, connected via WiFi.
A template for a MPU5 radio with 2m resolution and 2km radius (4 million points) is used and generates a calculation in under 1.5s in low power (15W) mode. Testing with 30W mode produced the same layer in about 800ms.
This is the first ARM64 DC powered GPU RF planning server so it can be powered by a 12-18v LiPo battery. The VM cannot run on there so we need to package this as a docker based product but if you're interested, get in touch.
