Asako Narahashi, a renowned Japanese photographer, focuses on the relationship between water and land in her work. She is best known for her iconic Mount Fuji photos taken from Kawaguchiko Lake.
The images themselves feel kinda eerie and isolating, as if we are seeing the land from far away into the sea. This perspective shift is an unique attribute to her vision.
Her work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions around the world and is included in the collections of The National Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo, the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, and Huis Marseille in Amsterdam.
