Hiking at the gorge Breitachklamm in Allgäu with lots of rain
No talk, no faces: just hiking and nature.
Here, after heavy rainfalls, we are going through the Breitachklamm gorge in the Allgäu. After crossing the gorge, we hike along the river Breitach to Waldhaus, which is already in Austria. After passing the small village of Schwende, we take a circular path back towards the gorge. Once again at the exit of the gorge, we walk uphill to see the gorge from above and because it was so beautiful, we walk back through the Breitach gorge at the end.
The hike at the Breitachklamm gorge includes (with all detours and double paths):
17 kilometers, 5 hours and about 500 meters altitude difference.
