MARINERO is a musical duo formed by Mariusz Anikiej, a former member of the renowned AKCENT band, and Marek Majewski, previously part of CRAZY BOYS. Together, they bring their experience and passion for electro disco polo, creating a unique and dynamic sound. Their album Nieba Skrawek, recorded at C.C.S. Studio in Warsaw and released in 1992, showcases their ability to blend catchy melodies with high-energy rhythms and polished production. Mariusz Anikiej provides keyboards and vocals, while Marek Majewski contributes with keyboards and drums, forming a powerful combination that defines the band's style. With its vibrant arrangements and infectious beats, Nieba Skrawek stands as a testament to their musical craftsmanship and the evolution of the disco polo genre.
Later that same year, MARINERO continued their musical journey with the release of Noce z tobą, another electro disco polo album that further solidified their presence in the scene, offering more energetic melodies and high-quality production that resonated with fans of the genre.
