First Evidence of Spring
There is a noticeable shift in the volume of birdsong, and the buds on the trees are fattening up. We move from blind belief that Spring will come to the enjoyment of those first shoots. The hellebores are at their peak and are now being joined by the first spots of colour from the early perennials of brunnera, honesty, anenome blanda and euphorbia. the daffodils are up and the tulips have their noses coming through the mulch.
