Spring tulips and blossom
Tulips of every colour from white to nearly black are popping up in the cottage garden, giving fabulous early colour. The early blossom on the crab apples, pears and cherries is in full glory. Above all I am revelling in the sheer delight of the fresh foliage everywhere - a green so vivid it is almost painful for your eyes.
