Tutorial on how to model Signal-to-Noise-Ratio (SNR) using different bandwidth and noise values.
As bandwidth increases, channel noise increases also. Using the Johnson-Nyquist formula, an appropriate noise value is used which can be overridden using local measurements.
The sensitivity (receive threshold) value in decibels determines the limit of the coverage. In SNR, a high capacity QAM signal will have a larger value eg. 20dB compared with telemetry like FSK which can operate at 3dB.
