BARBET Chicks' Feeding interrupted as PARAKEET's presence threatened Nesting
There was trouble for the Coppersmith Barbet parents when a Red-breasted Parakeet flew in & perched intrusively on top of the nest. The parents could not approach the nest to feed their hungry chicks. In a valiant attempt to chase off the parakeet, the Barbet parents launched wave after wave of attacks, dive-bombing the parakeet relentlessly.
