WSIB – Top Chef (2007, Canada) [4K Upscale]
It's my day off, I've really missed PSAs, and it's too bastard hot in the UK right now to do anything else... so I thought why not load up my iMac that's been stored under my bed for months and whack out the ol' upscaler?
This is a test more than anything else - I noticed a new model in Topaz after updating it that's apparently good for enhancing faces (that and I wanted to let everyone know that this channel is not dormant and I'm not, you know, dead).
And the results? I mean, I think it's done a pretty good job... at least compared to the original anyway, which wasn't the best quality and a very interlaced one at that. Seriously though, even after all these years there still doesn't seem to be original/high-quality copies of these WSIB PSAs anywhere at all.
Has this lit the fire in my belly to be active with my YouTube channels again? Well... I cannot say anything for certain. Since I last uploaded to this channel, I met the love of my life (10 months strong, woo woo!), got a new full-time job, and sadly lost a very close friend unexpectedly. In other words, I just haven't found the time to be as active on here as I used to. I know I probably don't need to explain myself, but just thought I'd post a little update on why I've been so absent.

Oh, and I guess I should actually say something about this PSA. But come on, who hasn't seen this one? The blood-curdling screams of an aspiring head chef after spilling an entire vat of blistering hot grease all over herself still haunt me to this day.
