This is the seventh video in a series of eight that takes a comprehensive look at ellipses.
99.9% of all the ellipses in math textbooks are oriented either horizontally or vertically. In this two-part video we look at ellipses that are oriented at a random angle. Specifically, we choose two focal points that lay on a sloped line and show how to construct and ellipse and develop its equation from that information.
