Dr Marco Colombo I joined the School of Chemical and Process Engineering as Research Fellow in 2013 after obtaining a PhD from the Polytechnic University of Milan. Since joining the University of Leeds, my research focus has been computational fluid dynamic simulation of bubbly, boiling and buoyancy-driven flows for nuclear reactor thermal hydraulics and passive safety. Previous research activities include experimental and numerical modelling of boiling flows and two-phase thermal hydraulic instabilities. My general interests are in multiphase flows, thermofluid dynamics and nuclear reactror thermal hydraulics.
