This extravagant pizza, however, is a bargain when compared with the famous “bitcoin pizza.”
On the 22nd of May 2010, Pizza was purchased from Papa Johns Pizza using a then unknown cryptocurrency called bitcoin. 10,000 of the bitcoins were handed over in exchange two large pizzas. The value of these bitcoins today exceeds 35 Million dollars! I hope they included extra toppings!
Pizza is so popular that 3 billion pizzas are sold every year the U.S. alone.
Americans loves eating pizza and consume around 350 slices every second.
