Want to develop robust feet and athleticism in a young athlete? Introduce dynamic load (in this case a kettlebell swing) and have them focus on maintaining balanced foot pressure throughout the movement and with each rep.
You'll notice in this real world example of Kelly training his daughter she makes small corrections through the movement to get back to that "reference position", where:
1️⃣ She's balanced from ball of foot to heel
2️⃣ She can maintain her arch
Remember this not just about throwing some dynamic exercises at your kid. They need to FEEL that reference position and be AWARE of what's happening to the feet when challenged.
