Small bird’s violent attacks against a much bigger soft toy bird
In the video a Willow tit attacks a soft toy Siberian jay several times. Just for comparison, a real Siberian Jay is shown right at the beginning of the video. As for the other birds, including Willow tits, Eurasian blue tits, Great tits, Crested tits, one Eurasian treecreeper and one Siberian jay, at my feeding spot, none of them pays any attention to the strange visitor. The reason for this particular willow tit’s aggressive behavior is unknown to me.
However, the reason for the fake Siberian jay to be there had nothing to with the willow tits or the other small birds but to see how the real Siberian jay would react to its presence. Very soon it turned out that it wasn’t the Siberian jay but one the willow tits that was interested in the soft toy.
Dans la vidéo, une Mésange boréale attaque un mésangeai imitateur en peluche; un vrai Mésangeai imitateur se montre au début de la vidéo. La raison du comportement agressif de la Mésange boréale me reste inconnue. En ce qui concerne les autres oiseaux de ce lieu d’alimentation , y compris des Mésanges boréales, des Mésanges bleues, des Mésanges charbonnières, des Mésanges huppées, un Grimpereau des bois et un Mésangeai imitateur, aucun d'entre eux ne prête attention à ce visiteur bizarre.
