Growing up in Australia, we’d often have rolls from Baker’s Delight. My littlie’s favourite are the #cheese #rolls so that’s why I decided to make this recipe.
We love these #bread rolls because they are super soft and you can customise them with any topping you’d like. Let me know if you make these in the comments below or snap a photo and tag me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/recipes_for...
Wet ingredients
1 sachet of yeast (7 grams or 0.25 oz or 2 tsp)
2 teaspoons castor sugar
300 grams warm water (approx. 1¼ cups)*
Dry ingredients
1 teaspoon salt
500 grams bakers flour (approx. 3 cups)*
1 teaspoon vinegar (apple cider vinegar)
1 tablespoon olive oil
Topping
1 egg, lightly beaten
Cheddar or tasty cheese, grated
Any other toppings e.g. sesame seeds, pineapple, olives, meat of choice etc.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius or 356 Fahrenheit Fan Forced
*It is best to weigh the ingredients to get the most consistent result. If you are using a cup measurement for the flour, fluff the flour up first and then spoon into the cup
