Thoughts on Destiny 3 After 5,200 Hours of Shooting Monsters
While replaying the Star Wars–inspired “Imperium” mission that opens the Destiny 2: Renegades campaign, I offer up some of my honest, unfiltered thoughts about what D2 got right and wrong as a sequel to the original Destiny, what’s interesting about the Fate Saga, and what I’d love to see in a potential Destiny 3 down the road.
I call myself a casual fan of the series at this point, but I’ve put thousands and thousands of hours into both Destiny and Destiny 2 since September of 2014, and I have a lot of respect for most of the good, talented people at Bungie, past and present.
