Why Halloween: The Game Is My Most Anticipated Game of 2026
Born and raised in the real-world Warren County, Illinois, I’ve been a fan of John Carpenter’s original Halloween for as long as I can remember. I’ve also written for and about video games professionally for more than a decade, covering Friday the 13th: The Game, Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, and all kinds of other games for places like Fangoria magazine, RogerEbert.com, Rolling Stone, and Variety. So here, then, are 10 pretty big reasons why I’m hyped for IllFonic’s Halloween: The Game—an asym-multiplayer horror game I’ve been daydreaming about since F13 launched in 2017.
