Halo: Combat Evolved Campaign Is Still Perfect 25 Years Later
With Microsoft and Halo Studios teasing the future of the Halo franchise this month, I thought it might be an appropriate time to go back to the timeless Bungie classic that started it all: 2001’s Halo: Combat Evolved. This epic first-person shooter combines colorful action, Hollywood humor, and some heady ideas about the universe and our place within it—kicking off a mythical sci-fi saga that still gets talked about decades later, even if it’s not quite the draw it used to be.
