Are light short bows REALLY weak and can't function? How can speed shooting be practical?
This is my humorous AND serious reply to all those comments against speed shooting and light bows. I am addressing bows that are around or lower than 30 pounds heavy. The funny roasting goes only to those who are disrespectful to those who have chosen this style of archery. If you are a respectful fellow who does a different style then don't mind that. I am always glad to have fellow archers and enthusiasts of any style. Knowledge and information is meant to be open and free. I always love learning from every style and I always adopt neat ideas into my personal style. Each person is free to choose what they like and enjoy the most.
I am explaining how the historical Southern Plains Native American SHORT BOW (one of the many bows used in the Americas) can do the job done if it is used the correct way at the correct time, place and with all the needed tools and requirements. This is the style I am recreating and using as my brand. Yes it obviously work as it can be seen again and again even if some people don't get it. It is the style I chose to enhance my military tactical system and be used as a pair.
Tribal warfare is not about complete annihilation. The strategy is different with a different end goal. Sure there are exceptions to the rule... there IS no rule. But a different time had different needs and mentality. Don't underestimate what you watch in the form of a video. YOU wouldn't want these arrows coming your way and you know it. Enjoy your expensive bow and be respectful. That is my point. Enjoy the video, once again I sprinkled my humor in it.
I made this video after reading a few ignorant comments on one of my TikTok videos going slowly viral. Of course the majority of people defended what I do and liked what they saw but for the argument's sake, here is some solid proof of why this archery style is fully functional and respectable.
