This full body movement ticks a lot of boxes for one movement.

You get a unilateral (single-leg) lower body pull, that allows you to work in single leg stability and balance. However you will only get limited lower body strength stimulus from this movement because of the upper body component forcing us to keep a relatively lighter load.

From an upper body point of view, the isometric extension contraction at the top of the movement forces your whole arm and shoulder to work and be activated.
The scapulas retraction action can help people with kyphosis by forcing them to open their T-spine or people with dysfunctional scapula movement patterns.
