We're making a light bean sprout salad, a perfect easy recipe to balance out heavier meals. This healthy recipe is crunchy, refreshing, and incredibly fast to make. Learn to prepare this delicious asian cuisine side dish, ideal for a quick and light salad option.

📜This recipe will make around 400g of bean sprout salad

🔹Ingredients:🔹
400 g / 14 oz bean sprouts
2 spring onions
4 tbsp mirin (or dry sherry)
2 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp rice wine vinegar
2 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp roasted sesame seeds

🔹Preparation:🔹
1. Wash and clean your bean sprouts. Dice up your spring onions.
2. Boil water and pour it over your bean sprouts. Let them sit in the hot water for 2 minutes. Take the bean sprouts out of the water and transfer them into a plastic container that has a tight lid.
3. Add in your diced spring onion and mix well.
4. Pour over your liquids: 4 tbsp mirin, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 3 tbsp rice wine vinegar and 2 tbsp sesame oil.
5. Sprinkle over your sesame seeds.
6. Mix well and put it in the fridge for at least 4 hours or better yet, overnight.

Tips:
This is a great appetizer before you eat fatty and heavy foods.
