KantanLQR for Project Managers
This video will show you how to create and manage your LQR projects in KantanLQR.
KantanLQR is a tool that allows you to create language quality review projects with the goal of evaluating Machine Translation output.
1. To create a project, navigate to your KantanLQR Dashboard and click New. A window will pop up and you will be asked to enter a name for your project and select the project type, whether Quality Evaluation or AB Testing; then you will have to choose the source and target languages as well as the start and finish dates. After reviewing your project summary, just click Create and the project will be added to your list.
2. For quality evaluation projects, you will need to set up some key performance indicators. To do that, go to the KPIs tab and click Add. In the pop-up window, select the compulsory KPIs you want to use from the drop-down menu and then click Next to add the optional KPIs. Finally, click Add.
3. To assign reviewers to your project, navigate to the Reviewers tab and click Add. In the pop-up window, enter the email addresses of your reviewers and click Add.
4. Finally, to upload your test data to review, go to the Test Data tab and click Add. In the pop-up window, first introduce the source segments and press Next. Then add the target segments and click Add. For A/B projects, you will have to introduce at least another set of target segments. Please bear in mind that the number of source and target segments must be the same.
Once the project is created, it will be displayed in your KantanLQR Projects list and, if you have introduced all the required information, it will be marked as ongoing by a round moving icon.
In case there is something missing, an end-of-the-line bar will be displayed, and if the project is completed, you will see a green tick.
On the right-hand side of each project row, four icons are displayed to change the project settings, check the project scores, preview the project as a reviewer and, if available, pause or resume the project.
On the bottom part of the screen, a small summary with the percentages of the reviewed segments and the KPIs for the selected project is displayed.
