Translating in Across with KantanAPI
This video will show you how to translate a document in Across.
1. Log on to Across and create a new project. To do this, in the crossBoard Dashboard, click Project Wizard.
2. Type a name for your project and add the file or files you want to translate. Then select the source and target languages.
3. Add all the relevant information you might need for your project and click Finish.
4. In your File Explorer, navigate to Across/crossAutomate and open the KantanMT folder.
5. Right click the KantanMTConnector file and select “Run as administrator”. The API will be launched and within minutes, your documents will be pre-translated in Across.
6. Navigate back to Across. Click Projects and then Tasks.
7. Right click the File you want to translate and click Open. You will find that the translations have been inserted and the file is ready for post-editing.
