Creating an Engine in KantanMT
An engine consists of training data specific to one language combination and domain. Training data is intended as a combination of bilingual translation memory files, monolingual files, terminology files and rules.
This video will show you how to create a Machine Translation engine.
1. Log on to your KantanMT account.
2. To create a new engine, click ‘New’.
3. In the pop-up window, choose a name for your new engine and click ‘Next’.
4. Then select a source and a target language.
5. At this stage, you can choose one of our relevant stock data sets from the KantanLibrary repository, or click ‘Next’ to proceed.
6. After reviewing your engine’s specs in the summary, click ‘Create’.
7. You will be redirected to the Engines page where your new engine will be active and ready for use!
