Heroic & Hilarious Adventures Await! - Episode 1 - Let’s Play Happy Dungeons
Welcome to Mythkiller Productions! As always, I will be your host, SiriMythkiller, as we start a new adventure in the free-to-play game Happy Dungeons. Like Death Tales, this is another mission-base combat/adventure game animated in a cartoon style but much more light-hearted and in full release.
The game starts on floating islands in the sky where a “happy war” has been going on for a long time. The biggest issue is knights falling off, which the player character does after heroically saving a damsel-in-distress. Resurrected by the princess Lily down below, I was immediately attacked by goblins! I defeated them then followed the princess through the forest, learning the combat system as we went.
A knight of the Order of the White Dragon met us on the way but before he could properly thank me, we were attacked by a HUGE goblin. I got a concussion out of the deal and was forced into signing up with the Order. After that came a lot of tutorials on navigating the menus and quest selection.
The king was furious that his princess was gone and sent myself and two other players out on a mission to find her. We mowed through the goblins of the Forest without mercy and achieved level 3 with no trouble.
Following our success were more tutorials, including the use Happy Cards. These cards are apparently the best way to get new, strong gear. Opening them felt like an early birthday present and I got some neat new weapons and armor pieces.
Overall, I feel this is going to be a great game! It’s cute, creative, and funny, and beating goblins senseless is a very good way to relax!
