Welcome to Mythkiller Productions! As always I will be your host, SiriMythkiller, as I walked through the hallowed halls of General Helena Tarsis’ tomb!
For my second Javelin, I chose the Ranger. Its defensive capabilities came in REALLY handy during this expedition.
The tomb itself was tucked behind a waterfall. The first few rooms were full of skorpians, skeletons, and runes. In its heyday, I bet it was gorgeous! It was still beautiful, in an overgrown, ancient ruin way. The doors were locked by the patterned lock mechanisms. While some of the clue panels were easy to find, others were tricky. Sometimes, I just found one clue and turned the second till I got the right answer.
The General’s tomb itself was beautiful and pristine but there was no javelin in sight. It did however, contain her signet that allows access to the Fortress of Dawn and probably her suit. I had just picked it up when a cyber-projection of the Monitor joined me! The guy is a smooth talker, no doubt, but I refused his offer and told him to “Get glitched.”
By then, Dominion forces had located me and infiltrated the tomb. It was a tough firefight to get out. I ran out of bullets several times and got shot quite a bit. I’m still not sure if my Interceptor would have been able to handle the concentrated fire. The Ranger came out okay, though, even after being hit with missles when I made a run for the strider.
Haluk was FURIOUS at first, blaming me for getting the Monitor involved. I snapped back but Faye interceded with her concerns. Owen was STILL badgering me about getting out into the field. After we shot him down as a group, Haluk had a sudden change of heart and decided that he did need me after all. We headed back to Fort Tarsis to make our final preparations.
