The game starts with the most intense tutorial I’ve ever seen! After Faye explained a bit of the backstory of Bastion and the javelins, I was dropped straight into a Cataclysm, a world-changing event caused by a Shaper Relic gone wild. Along with other Freelancers, I tried to stop the huge Ash Titans spawned by the Cataclysm, but it was no use. We lost all but two Freelancers just to defeat the first one then two more appeared! We were forced to call a retreat, which shattered the people's’ faith in Freelancers.
