Student Action - Teapot Burn Guard
This video provides an interview of a student in a grade 10 science class, as questioned by her teacher, as she discusses design and popularization of her 3D-printed teapot heat guard. She speaks eloquently about pros and cons of her design and problems with commercial tea bags - including for labourers and for environments. This project is a result of a teacher's implementation of the 'STEPWISE' pedagogy - particularly in terms of teaching concepts like: actor-network theory; dispositifs; sociotechnical imaginaries; government regulations; semiotics; and others.
