In the last chapter of the first module (Self Awareness), we're looking at what it means to be alone. Why do we avoid being alone? Why are we so compulsive about checking our phones instead of simply absorbing the moment, as it happens?
To wrap up the fourth module, our activity is to practice being alone with our thoughts (and no distractions) for a full hour. During that hour, perform a communication audit on yourself and think about where you might have room to improve. Also, note how it feels to be alone for that hour. Is it relaxing and liberating, or does it feel awkward and uncomfortable? What do these feelings tell us about the need for regular downtime?
