Blessed Vernal Equinox! Save The Monarchs! Plant Milkweed!
The Vernal Equinox, March 20, is the day where light and dark are in perfect balance for a short window of time, and magnetism is in balance! You can stand eggs upright on both of the Equinoxes, which never ceases to amaze me! This is also a time to honor the Divine Mother of All. This is the time when She resumes predominance and we begin to see Life in flux. Spring is a time of fertility and growth, warmth and peace. The Equinox is important to the Monarchs, too -- this is the day when they traditionally leave their overwintering sites and begin the return Journey North. We need to work very hard this year to plant enough milkweed and nectar-producing flowers and keep the North American Monarchs ALIVE! The migrations are on the verge of collapse, and the time is NOW.
