On April 4th, 2014, I had heart surgery: three pacemaker lead extractions and implantation of a new pacemaker and leads. I suffered some complications afterward, including pericarditis and dysautonomia issues, and I was kept in hospital that week. During my stay, my passion for cetacean advocacy surfaced regularly (no pun intended, and no big surprise, I am sure!), often thanks to my beloved hubby, Mr. Empath's cheering antics and support throughout!
This video is a tribute to cetacea and to the passion of all of the Activists fighting for them -- especially, my dear friends who have been so supportive throughout this whole ordeal! I LOVE YOU GUYS!

LOL omg I am still laughing about that ICU Rant! ^_^

The enduring message here for all is this:
As long as you have a pulse, you have a purpose.
As long as you draw breath, change is possible.
NEVER BE SILENT! NEVER GIVE UP!

Even if you are sick, you have a Voice. Use it ~ and be the change you want to see in the world!

It's been several weeks but I am still recovering. This was a rougher surgery than expected. I will be posting a more detailed vlog about the medical/surgical side of things, but had to share this one first.

To all of the amazing, brave men and women of the Cetacean Advocacy Movement, thank you for being my ocean-loving family!

FOR THE DOLPHINS!
FOR THE WHALES!
FOR THE OCEANS ~ ALWAYS!
