Episode 5: Oral Comprehension - Retell
Research shows that retelling promotes comprehension and vocabulary development. It is a complex skill that requires the student to understand, recall and remember as well as sequence and organize thoughts and summarize information. In this episode we will see how students are explicitly taught how to retell a short story.
