Field Notes Friday: UVLT Firewood Assistance Program
This week, UVLT staff had the help from community members and LeClair Acres Farm to deliver firewood to our last three recipients for this year's firewood assistance program. We are beyond grateful for all the support we have received from our community partners to help us get dry firewood to families in the Upper Valley so they can heat their homes this winter. We are looking forward to next spring when we can start bucking and splitting our next stack of timber and get that into our woodshed for the assistance program.
This fall, we were able to donate 11 cords of firewood to families in the Upper Valley! Thank you to everyone who has supported us this year, we couldn't have made this happen without you.
