Field Notes Friday: Zebedee Bog Bridge Project
This week UVLT completed one of our largest trail projects of the year, replacing all of the old hemlock bog bridges at Zebedee Wetland. With the help from volunteers and our community partners at the Thetford Conservation Commission, Thetford Trails Team, and students from the Thetford Academy, we were able to finish installing all new bog bridges within two days! We also received critical logistical support from our surrounding neighbors which made moving materials around the trail more manageable.
With nice weather in the forecast for this weekend, we hope you can visit Zebedee to enjoy the beautiful Fall scenery and test out the new bridges!
