Dear friends,
after six months of war it is time to say thank you. Thank you so much for everything, your support, the donations you made. We’ve achieved a lot with your money. Since February 24th we collected around 106.000 euros and we have now helped like about 300 people.
This is Conrad from Munich Kyiv Queer and here is an update on the situation in Ukraine.
We are still helping people who are in need because they have lost their jobs, their homes or even families. People who need medication, hormones, sometimes an operation. Trans* people who need documents to leave the country. People who need to be evacuated, especially from the occupied territories.
But we also have to say: This money is almost gone. A few thousand euros are left. From 500 euros per person in the beginning, we currently give only 200 euros. Still better than nothing – it helps for two or three weeks. But we still get three, four requests for help a day.
We know: You have already done a lot and it is a lot to ask for donations over and over again. In Europe, too, the war is taking its toll on us, the prices are rising.
Maybe you can advertise in your friends' circles: Every euro counts. Or send even small contributions. The important thing is that they come regularly.
