Join us in taking a look back at Leg 4, when we travelled from Charlottetown, P.E.I. to St. John's, Nfld. Like every leg, our participants came together on the first day with excitement and a little trepidation about what the next 10 days had in store for them. The experience of travelling along the East Coast, visiting vibrant communities and sharing stories with one another brought us all closer together very quickly. Dr. Marie Wilson, a commissioner of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and Stephen Kakfwi, former premier of the Northwest Territories, led the group in thought-provoking discussions about what it means to be Canadian and what it means to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Confederation.
