How to Make a Raw Edge Wax Seal
Today I’m going to show you how to make a raw edge wax seal. These are super pretty and fun to make!
What you’ll need: Glue gun, sealing wax, wax stamp. You can apply raw seals directly to your gift tags or make them on your makers mat and use a glue dot to apply them.
1. Pour a small amount of wax, about 1/2” in diameter and then place your stamp into the wax.
2. Let the wax cool and remove the stamp. **Tip: If you use too little wax, it may get stuck in the stamp and be hard to remove. (This happened to me yesterday). To avoid this make sure to get 1/2” of wax in your pour.
Once you remove your stamp you’ll have a raw edge (meaning there is no “lip” or ridge of wax around the design). It’s a fun and different way to make your wax seals.
