How to make a wax seal
Pour - You’ll want to pour your wax into the general shape of the wax stamp. Because our stamp for this month was a rectangle, we’ll want to pour a rectangular shape. It will round itself out a bit, because it’s wax. But we’re going for the general shape.
Press - Press the stamp into the wax and use a bit of pressure. The pressure helps the wax get into the crevices of the stamp and make a nice impression. If it helps you can only use the stamp head and no handle and stand or view the stamp from directly above so that you can see that it’s centered.
Cooling - After you press your stamp, let it cool for a minute or two. You’ll know it’s ready when you can pull the stamp off of the parchment paper or silicon mat with now issue. If the wax is sticking to the mat or your stamp, then just let it cool longer and try again in a few minutes.
