Linkage for Mac - Snapping Development Demonstration
I have part of the snapping feature working. Snapping is a feature where elements snap or move automatically to line up with other elements. The video shows me dragging around a drawing point and snapping to line up with other elements.
This also works even when dragging a larger set of elements, with whatever is closest to any of the elements causing a snap.
I still need to work on snapping sliding connectors. It's not real snapping since they always move along their slide path. The issue is when multiple elements are selected, and then they all have to be adjusted so the slider moves along its slide path. Of course, if there are multiple sliders with parallel paths, dragging them should work properly, too.
But for now, dragging and snapping somewhat works!
