1:10th Scale Off-Roading at Moon Rocks
This is my first attempt at using the selfie-stick to get some low-angle footage of the RC truck. We were just finishing up our outing to Moon Rocks when I decided to get some footage to share.
I'm using an iPhone 14 with 1x lens. The truck is a Traxxas TRX-4 with the Lexan Defender body. The pinion is a 9-tooth and the rear springs were replaced with the slightly stiffer springs from the stock springs (and I'm not sure I like these springs).
I've never tried to use the selfie-stick before and it came out ok. I only lost the truck a few times.
We had a good time taking tougher routes up the rocks in the area and I wish I had footage of that. But it's hard to steer and take video at the same time. Maybe I need to make a selfie-stick with the transmitter built onto it.
