Floppy Link and Gravity
This mechanism shows how a link with no predictable position could fall due to gravity. The floppy link falls to a hanging position and then rests there for the remainder of the video.
Had this mechanism been used for something link the landing gear of an airplane, it might not be deployed properly or it might collapse during landing.
The Linkage simulator (http://linkagesimulator.com) cannot simulate gravity - it was faked for this example.
