Hmm, this may well be my last mask review. We're winding down here in the US and I think interest in masks will be waning. I certainly don't want to wear these things anymore.
I did this review because a viewer requested it and since it was Tom Bihn I was happy to do so.
Made in the US with a cool design? Sure. I jumped in, even though the total delivered cost was over $24.
These new masks are 6 layers thick. Two are cotton and the other 4 are polypropylene which TB says is recommended for the best trapping of particles.
The materials feel great overall and are up to the TB standard build. Because of the extra layers, this mask is way stiffer than the other TB masks I've tried and it feels big on the face.
Overall though it's very breathable for it's thickness and I think it's pretty comfortable to wear. The stiffness actually makes it less likely to stick to your face when breathing hard.
Final score for these:
Cost: 2
Style: 2
Comfort: 4
Breathability : 4
Total: 12
