Webcam Battle! Sony ZV-1 vs Logitech C920 Pro vs Macbook Pro
Hey party people.
So I got the Logitech C920 webcam to see if I could use it as an everyday webcam for Zoom meetings and such. I thought maybe I could also use it for videos.
Quick answer. Nope.
The Sony ZV-1 with the 2.0 Firmware is far superior, even though it only supposedly outputs 720p. The image is far sharper and with better color gamut than the Logitech.
The Logitech was so bad, I had to ask if it was even better than the Macbook Pro 2019's built in 720p webcam. No, it's not.
I thought maybe I might still use the Logitech on a trip when I didn't want to take the Sony since the Logitech is smaller. Nope. The image quality is so bad that I might as well just use the built in webcam.
Even better, one can use a phone or iPad with an app to be used as a webcam. This is a far better solution than the Logitech.
