Drug Rehab Hospitals
Daniel Headrick M.D. of Mission Hospital in Laguna Beach California discusses the advantages of hospital-based addiction treatment. Dr. Headrick explains that an outpatient facility or support group may not address all of the important issues the addicted person may be facing. He says every addict should have a full medical workup because many have medical conditions that could be overlooked. He says the lack of distractions in the hospital setting improves rehabilitation outcomes.
