The Sentimental Journey fly-in welcomes all flyers and all types of planes, and is one of the America’s best-loved and most family-friendly fly-ins. Over the years, the fly-in has had a heavy emphasis on Piper aircraft, mainly because Lock Haven was the site of the Piper factory for more than fifty years. But this video shows some of the variety of flivvers that have dropped into the fly-in, including Stinsons, classic Cessnas, Stearmans, Vans home-builts, Wacos, a super-rare Davis from 1930, and even a few jets. This video highlights some of the aircraft we've hosted at the fly-in over the past few years. All the action in this video was on our taildragger-friendly grass runway, which is a little over 2,000 feet long. One thing is for sure: nobody gets bored at Sentimental Journey.
